Abstract

This article explores several principles underlying the developing practice of inclusive religions education in the Netherlands. The Institute for Theology and Social Integration {(Utrecht}, The Netherlands) has been instrumental in advocacy for inclusive programming within churches. Underlying philosophies include the notion of “taking a walk” and experiential aspects of religious participation and practice. Practical examples of pastoral practices are provided.
